Adding To The Family Tree - a layout

Meet Bubba and BB, who this year welcomed Little Bubba into the world...

Oct. 31, 2009...Bubba and BB Bodge are proud to announce the birth of their first born squash, lovingly named Little Bubba. Little Bubba joined the family on October 31, 2009. BB and Bubba, who reside in picturesque New England were overheard shortly after the birth exclaiming in delight over their new bundle of joy. “Isn’t he darling? He looks just like his father!” said BB. “Guess that’s the last full night of sleep I get.” lamented Bubba, “er...I mean...what a proud Daddy I am!” Weighing in at 6 lbs. 1 oz, Baby Bubba came into the world just in time to celebrate Halloween with his parents, who plan to teach Little Bubba about The Great Pumpkin in years to come.

Shortly before the birth, Bubba and BB were asked what they felt would be the biggest changes in their life with the addition of their little pumpkin. Although they do not intend to give up their favorite activity, sitting on the front porch enjoying the fall weather, BB did admit that she would miss her figure. No more slinky dresses and slitletto heels for her. Concurrently, Bubba, who supported his wife during the pregnancy is resolved that he will lose the baby fat he incurred before next Halloween, for he was unable to wear his favorite orange shirt.

During the evening of the blessed arrival, Bubba and BB proudly showed off their child to many visitors of the home, regardless if all they were there for was the free candy being handed out in celebration.

One wonders what will become of Bubba, BB and Little Bubba. Will BB ever fit back into her favorite holiday dress? Will Bubba lose the baby bump? And what of Little Bubba. This author can only imagine the prize-winning gourd he will become.
